Accessibility
Last updated May 28, 2026
Creste is committed to making creste.dev usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
What we do
- Build with semantic, standards-based HTML so the page works with assistive technology.
- Keep the Site fully operable by keyboard, with a logical reading and focus order.
- Maintain sufficient colour contrast between text and background in both light and dark themes.
-
Respect the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting — all animations are disabled for visitors who ask their system to reduce motion. - Respect your system's
prefers-color-scheme, with a manual light/dark toggle. - Use responsive, fluid typography that scales cleanly across screen sizes.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful non-text content and mark decorative graphics as such.
Known limitations
Accessibility is ongoing work. If you encounter a barrier we have not caught, we want to hear about it and will do our best to fix it promptly.
Feedback
If you have trouble using any part of this Site, or have suggestions, please email hello@creste.dev. Tell us the page, the issue, and the browser or assistive technology you were using, and we will respond as quickly as we can.
